2. Informational Usage
For informational usage of our websites, we collect only the data automatically transmitted by your browser, such as:

  • IP address (network address)

  • Address of the website you came from

  • Address of the files accessed (access URL)

  • Date and time of access

  • Operating system and browser version of your device (User-Agent)

The data is stored in (technical) logs.

2.1 Retention Period
These logs are retained for a period of 1 year.

2.2 Legal Basis for Data Processing
The aforementioned data are technically required to provide our websites to you and to ensure stability and security, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

3. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to enable certain functionalities on our websites. A cookie is a small information package consisting of a key-value pair. Cookies are managed by your browser and stored on your device. We may use cookies if they are strictly necessary for website operation. For all other types of cookies, we require your consent. When you contact us via email or the contact form, the data you provide—such as your email address, name, telephone number, and message content—are processed to clarify your request.

4.1 Retention Period
We delete the data collected in this context as soon as it is no longer needed for these purposes or restrict processing if statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. archiving obligations for business and trade correspondence).

4.2 Legal Basis for Data Processing
Processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party, or to take pre-contractual measures at the request of the data subject, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Alternatively, processing is performed in our and your interest in handling your request, in accordance with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. YouTube
With your consent, we embed videos stored on YouTube (Google) that can be played directly on our websites. If you are also logged in to YouTube or Google during your visit, Google may associate your visit to our website with your user behavior. If you do not wish this association, please log out of your account before playing the video.

Please familiarize yourself with YouTube’s (Google’s) privacy settings and only enable cookies or data processing that you personally consider appropriate. YouTube (Google) stores your data in usage profiles and uses it for personalized advertising.

Revocation of Consent:
You may withdraw your consent at any time by disabling YouTube in the consent manager or by consenting only to strictly necessary cookies.

5.1.1 Retention Period
See the retention period of logs under “Informational Usage” above in this privacy notice. We do not collect any further data in connection with YouTube.

5.1.2 Legal Basis for Data Processing
The connection to YouTube is only made with your consent (via cookie consent manager or later activation of the desired video in a specific area of our site), in accordance with § 25(1) TTDSG and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

In cases of cross-border transfers of personal data (including your IP address) to the USA, YouTube (Google) relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Embedded Service Providers
Below is an overview of all service providers involved in providing and improving our websites and enabling specific functionalities.

7. Social Media Platforms (External to Our Websites)
This section informs you about processing of your data in context of visiting our presence on external social media platforms.

7.1 YouTube (Google)
We manage a YouTube channel, mainly as a platform to engage with customers and interested parties. You can comment on our content, which may be publicly visible.

We receive analytical data (e.g., view counts, likes) from YouTube about our channel’s popularity, as provided by YouTube (Google).

7.1.1 Data Controllers
We are responsible for data handling on our YouTube channel. Within the EU/EEA and Switzerland, Google Ireland Limited is responsible for data processing regarding YouTube.

Please review YouTube’s privacy settings and only enable cookies/processing you consider appropriate. YouTube (Google) stores data in usage profiles for personalized advertising.

7.1.2 Retention Period
Usually, there is no set retention period for comments. We delete data when it is no longer needed or restrict processing if legal retention obligations apply. You can delete your own comments on our channel at any time.

7.1.3 Legal Basis for Processing
We operate our YouTube channel in our interest to communicate with customers, prospects, and users and inform about our offerings and events, under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

8. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access

  • Right to rectification or erasure

  • Right to restriction of processing

  • Right to data portability

8.1 Right to Lodge a Complaint
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority about how we process your data.

8.2 Right to Object
If we process your data based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interests), you have the right to object at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. If we cannot demonstrate overriding legitimate grounds or if we process your data for direct marketing purposes, we will desist from processing (see Art. 21 GDPR). If technically feasible, you will be informed how to exercise the objection in each processing section above in our privacy notice.

8.3 Right to Withdraw Consent
You have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for data collection and use with future effect. Processing that occurred based on consent before the withdrawal remains lawful. You can withdraw or adjust your cookie consents via our consent manager.
